SUMMARY
It is said that iridology is a “science” unknown and rarely studied, part
of alternative medicine based on the diagnosis of disease by observing the
iris reflects these changes occur, such as shape, color and other features.
That is why the concern is born this work, to clarify doubts and fears about
the subject. This research copila most of the information found, clarifying
that being a little-studied bibliographic unfounded, is why it is
conducts an interview, trying to clarify most of the questions, and observing
images by the procedure to be performed by the iridologist.
In the Mexican community little has been heard about iridology (rather than the
means naturists), most people know the subject, or to ask,
require to be referred to explain the word, but it is important to note that most
part of the population is centered in traditional medicine based on herbs, adults
transmit more knowledge about plants, but not on other issues such as
iridology, it is easy to say that it is a new science, but it is known that
way due to lack of study or sustained information, and is mainly
unknown to most people.
INTRODUCTION
There are different ways of naming eyes, some people are describing as the mirror
the soul, a window or door into the person, a means of communication, a way
to express feelings, fears, anxieties, joys, anger, or simply a part of
essential body but the eyes are of vital importance to every individual and differs
approach that gives each.
Iridology involves the study of the iris, and of course each of the features that
component, such as color, shape and some alterations present, this reading is
performed in order to determine disease of the person, who is subjected to an analysis
detailed by the expert on the subject.
This science is not related to medicine now, based on drugs manufactured
laboratory or sophisticated equipment, it is simply an analysis or a
interpretation of the structures of the iris, in order to detect or prevent diseases existing
future.Iridology is a word that is unknown to many, for other
represents something of the past and some do not give more importance because of the deficit should
expertise.
The iris is part of the eyes, comprising tiny structures, which when
studies allow us to know different pathologies, and you can see the functional status and health
patient.
The study of the iris is an experimental science based on observation of the iris with a magnifying glass
and a built-in light, leaving aside a graph to locate the lesion, it
procedure has limitations in determining some aspects, but although it must be
understand that there is a medicine that does not heal and it is simply a method that allows
identification of some diseases, as a prevention method.
That is why we say that the diagnosis using the iris, is based on that any alteration

Iridology is to natural medicine, a kind of pathological record, where you can
ascertained the constitution and strength of body, congenital weakness, the parts
predisposed to the disease, the ailment that is suffered and the origin of the various symptoms

HISTORY
Iridology is an ancient science recently updated through research

But even with the above background, the discovery of iridology is attributed to
Hungarian physician Ignatz von Peczely, born in 1826, who at the age of 10 years in an attempt
to capture an owl, broke his leg, and was at that time he was seen as
the eye of the owl appeared to change, and thus began to think that the changes
manifested in the body so did the eye, and from that experience, continued
research and not only created the first topography (interpretation) about 1850, but

To Peczely, iris works like a radar that detects true disease and notes

iris.
Dr. Schlegel, a disciple of Peczely published two books on the diagnosis of

READING OF THE IRIS
IRIS DIAGNOSIS
The iris is the diagnostic procedure that involves the recognition of pathologies,
obtained by observing the constitution of the iris.To determine the topography of the iris,
must first identify the iris chart, which is a graphical representation of the
iridológicas areas for each organ system or region of the human body.
In the center of the map is the pupil, whose size can vary depending on the degree of expansion
established by the greater or lesser amount of light or by poison or organic defects.

LAGUNA
Closed lesion is a teardrop shape that can occur almost anywhere in the zone of
iris indicates its meaning is hereditary deficiency in the function.

LAGUNA CLUSTER OF GRAPES
This mark looks like a small bunch of grapes, often seen in the glandular areas

REVIEW OF THE IRIS
After identifying the graphs iridológicas and her awareness of some of the alterations
that may occur in the iris, we proceed with the examination by the knowledgeable
subject.

clinical relationships.

What is Iridology?
Science is a charge of analysis of the iris based on alternative medicine, and can
prevent different diseases.
What interested you in iridology?
In itself, I care and alternative medicine each of the sciences and techniques that comprise it,
including the reading of the iris.
How did you learn to read the iris?
I took graduate courses and alternative medicine and then in it, it included the reading of
iris, and continue studying.
What is the purpose of making the reading of the iris?
Allow iridologist pathologies know past, present and future of the individual, which is
presenting or is at risk for and to act as it is a science based on the
prevention.
Does some kind of ritual before starting the procedure?
Personally, I check if the patient is not stressed as it can influence the reading of the iris,
but what is, most iridologists only focus on the reading of the iris, regardless
stress. I check the stress in the language, a procedure performed to all my patients before
logging.
To whom does the reading of the iris?
A whole adult individual who believes in reading, and allow the procedure. And it is not
recommended for the child and not yet registered everything about the body in the iris.

What indications provided before and after the reading?
Just before the procedure, it is recommended that the patient does not take medicine because it does not
reading allows correct and that this relaxed, and after the procedure there is no

DISCUSSION
After reviewing the limited information on the subject, and have the idea of the procedure, we
realize that iridology is a term that requires study, so that this population
not only Morelos, Mexico but in practice created and used as a preventive method.
While one must consider not going to be easy that people accept and begin to believe
in this science, but something must be started and not only to convince the population that
patented drugs are the only ones that prevent or cure, but there are more alternatives
as is the reading of the iris, used as a method of prevention.
Through the displayed images, one can identify each step to be performed by the expert in the
issue and better understand what the reading of the iris.Given that the
procedure can be performed differently, depending on the technique of the practitioner.
Iridology is an interesting topic, which is part of alternative medicine as a method
prevention, not involving excessive costs and can be done quickly, making large
benefits.
CONCLUSION
We know that iridology is a science that has no scientific basis to support what
diagnosed, and that many health workers see it as a pseudoscience or as
a secondary procedure.
But while it should be realized that this is not a new science, but has a large
history that allow us to determine that reading of the iris or the appreciation of the eyes has
remained for many years, but simply left in the story, and has not transcended
as a matter of public interest.We must also consider that if the population is not much
who knows the subject, if any, people who have allowed even the existence of iridology.
Es un tema que en lo personal resulto interesante, al poder intervenir directamente con el
profesional de la lectura y en dicho procedimiento. Solo espero y con la información presentada y
con la entrevista obtenida a un iridológo de años, haya quedado aclarado, y con ello puedan
seguir la difusión y entendimiento del tema y principalmente quede en el interés de otras
personas, para seguir investigando.
