COMPARISON OF FILTERING METHOD FOR IMPROVING IMAGE IMAGE QUALITY IMAGE BASED IMAGE PROCESSING

Abstract

On the iris of the human eye has a very unique and different pattern of every human being, so it is possible to use it as the basis of the introduction of biometric known as iridology. Iridology is a method of reading the map on the eye to detect some types of disease by using iris eye observation pattern. In this study the authors try to examine the data set of iris image obtained from public and private data set still looks the noise so it requires processing to reduce glaze or glare by applying filtering based method by comparing the results between several filtering methods among them laplassian, median filter , gaussian, and laplassian of gaussian to solve the problem of iris image especially in reducing glare or flash of light during image acquisition process. For the measurement we use the error rate value as the result.
