Iridoscopy in the diagnosis of internal pathology in dermatoses

February 7, 2023 | Abstracts

Abstract Iridoscopy was carried out in 40 patients with rosacea and seborrheic dermatitis in order to detect visceral abnormalities. Various gastrointestinal diseases were revealed in 32, vascular and neuropsychic disorders in 16, and renal or pancreatic shifts in 5 patients. Austhours Fedorovskaia RF, Alekseev VF, Masiukova SA, Kas'ianenko VI, Danilova AA, Mkhitar'ian AG Vestnik Dermatologii i Venerologii, 01 Jan 1990, (1):38-41Language:rusPMID: 2139291  Source: http://europepmc.org/article/MED/2139291 Read More

Diagnostic possibilities of iridodiagnostics in general clinical practice

February 7, 2023 | Abstracts

An older interesting abstract from 1989 that was not previously found in database. Abstract The state of the iris has been studied in 817 persons, of them in 150 workers of oil-industry, in eye office conditions. Iridodiagnostics was performed in one and the same person using two methods: with the help of a slit lamp "SL-56" and a magnifying glass. For topic... Read More

Novel Approach of Molecular Genetic Understanding of Iridology: Relationship Between Iris Constitution and Angiotensin Converting Enzyme Gene Polymorphism

February 7, 2023 | Abstracts

Abstract Iridology is the study of the iris of the eye to detect the conditions of the body and its organs, genetic strengths and weaknesses, etc. Although iridology is not widely used as a scientific tool for healthcare professionals to get to the source of people's health conditions, it has been used as a supplementary source to help the diagnosis of... Verification of Iridology in Determining Dysfunctionality of Heart Through Deep-Learning

February 1, 2023 | Abstracts

Abstract: Cardio Vascular Disease (CVD) is a condition that occurs due to heart failure. CVD is one of the significant causes of life loss. If CVD left untreated, it may result in multiple organ failures. Iridology, a class of Complementary and Alternative Medicine, and a non-invasive diagnosing method, has the ability to determine the dysfunctional organ in human. In iridology dysfunctional... Machine learning and deep learning approach for medical image analysis: diagnosis to detection

January 15, 2023 | Abstracts

Abstract Computer-aided detection using Deep Learning (DL) and Machine Learning (ML) shows tremendous growth in the medical field. Medical images are considered as the actual origin of appropriate information required for diagnosis of disease. Detection of disease at the initial stage, using various modalities, is one of the most important factors to decrease mortality rate occurring due to cancer and tumors.... Read More

Screening and validation of the iris manifestation among patients with hemiplegia – an observational study

January 15, 2023 | Abstracts

Abstract Objectives Understanding and validating the science behind traditional diagnostic methods is a niche area to be explored. Iris diagnosis is one such valuable diagnostic tool used in Naturopathy. In the current study, we have assessed and documented the iris changes observed among patients with hemiplegia with respect to the iridology chart. Methods We recruited 35 patients with hemiplegia which includes both genders. Iris... Read More

Cholesterol Detection Through Iris Using Daugman’s and GLCM Based on K-Means Clustering

November 7, 2022 | Abstracts

Abstract: Cholesterol is a disease that is influenced by fat deposits originating from the liver. Detection of cholesterol disease can be known through blood tests, urine checks and visually the iris of the human eye. Cholesterol detection through the iris can be implemented using image processing techniques, especially in image segmentation. Input-based image segmentation on feature extraction and pattern classification... Read More

Mobile Application for Cholesterol Detection Using Iridology with Image Processing and Support Vector Machine

October 24, 2022 | Abstracts

Abstract: Cholesterol is one of the factors than can cause disability and other diseases that is fatal to one’s life. Data from World Health Organization (WHO) said that around 4.4 million people die because of cholesterol related diseases and 40.4 million people are disabled because of cholesterol. To avoid this, people usually check their cholesterol rate so that they can control... Read More

Diabetic Detection Using Iris Images

September 4, 2022 | Abstracts

Abstract For clinical diagnosis, Iris image analysis is one of the most efficient non-invasive diagnosis method which helps to determine the health status of organs. Though correct and timely diagnosis is critical, it is very essential requirement of medical science. From the literature survey that we have done, is observed that lot of modern technologies also fails in diagnose disease correctly.... Read More

A Study of the Iris Characteristics of Dementia Patients Using the Askeye Iris Analysis AI Solution

September 4, 2022 | Abstracts

Abstract: In this study, we examined medical records and the iris images of 16 dementia patients using an iris analysis program (Askeye Iris Analysis AI Solution). The most common feature of patients identified using the iris analysis program was a sign of pancreatic weakness in the iris (shown in 14 out of 16 patients). The discovery was significant because metabolic diseases... Read More
